Recently I attended an Anthony B concert at the Granada, this guy is one of the best live performer I’ve seen, high energy whether the concert is sold out or not. I really enjoyed the show, it wasn’t your average ‘crotch grabbing, am bigger than life artist-kind of a performance,’ but he actually kept the crowd engaged.
Legends Die Young {Feb 6th 1945 – May 11th 1981}. In today’s world where music is as trendy as Ed hardy t-shirts and ‘all-over print hoodies,’ his music is still very relevant. Happy birthday Robert Nesta “Bob” Marley..!
Do what you love, and the best way to find out what that is, according to Blake Mycoskie founder of TOMS is to ask yourself “If you did not have to worry about money, what would you do with your time!” The Gaskettes seem like they are living life to the fullest at 35MPH.
Hate it or love it, this place has a lot of history, whether is from being a legendary punk rock club that it was back in the day, or the Urban Ballerina location that it is now. The first time you go to the Outhouse, most people I know have the same reaction …”where are we” or “what the F%$@ is this barn looking place” Anyway, we have recently joined KickStarter so we can be able to further support Independent Ventures/ Companies, and other creative individuals. KickStarter is a website where people can fund or support creative projects they like with as little as $1.00. The Outhouse documentary project is by Brad Norman and is being done here in Overland Park, KS. You can show your support for as little as $1.00 and in return you will receive a gift of some sort.
